OVERVIEW
Ball State’s Theatre & Dance Department contained a series of posters inspired by their journey towards the new opening location of their building. The Studio 165+ team worked directly with the directors of their corresponding plays in order to fully convey the stories the cast was telling. Each set of posters were broken up into 3 stages: “Saying Goodbye”, “On the Road” and “Coming Home.” The following set is the first stage, “Saying Goodbye,” which produced 3 posters.
RESULTS
The posters that were designed included Kinky Boots, Revolt She Said Revolt Again, and The Three Musketeers. A total of 3 posters that have a cohesive theme of a framing effect that mimics the curtains closing in the theatre to represent “saying goodbye.”
